This Energy Development Services Agreement ("Agreement") is designed for an individual or business that will be acting as a developer on a solar or other renewable energy and/or energy efficiency project. It provides for the consultant developer to select the technologies, propose service providers, optimize ROIs, and provide for many other project management services through the project's completion. Key provisions in this Agreement include, but are not limited to, a two year exclusivity period, success based compensation structure, indemnification, limits of liability, and scope of services with key exclusions related to contractor licensing requirements. Many renewable energy developers use this Agreement to prevent conflicts of interest and protect investments.
