Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) Agreement

This RMO Agreement is designed for solar and other types of cleantech companies that need a contractor’s license to operate. The Agreement provides for an officer with a contractor’s license to be the Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) for the company’s construction operations. Since an RMO can serve as the qualifier for multiple entities subject to certain restrictions, the Agreement contains clauses to cover an RMO who is assuming this role for multiple entities. This RMO Agreement is designed for California companies and their RMOs to execute when seeking to define obligations, expectations, risk and liabilities when this type of relationship is desired.
