Subcontractor Agreement

This Master Subcontractor Agreement ("Agreement") is designed for solar, wind and other cleantech contractors who sell, install and repair renewable energy projects. It covers, among other things, the range of risks and liabilities that the subcontractor must agree to accept, the scope of work the subcontractor must perform, work specifications that match the contractor’s agreement with the purchaser, how the work will be paid and the right to retain a certain amount until final acceptance, a work schedule that meets the contractor’s deadlines, indemnification of the contractor in the event of a purchaser or other third-party claim, warranty obligations and adequate insurance requirements. This Agreement is designed as a master agreement that can be used for an ongoing relationship with the subcontractor through the execution of Addenda on a project-by-project basis.
