This Residential Solar-Plus-Storage System Installation Agreement is designed to be in compliance with California contractor licensing law and contains beneficial contractual terms for solar-plus-storage contractors that sell solar-plus-storage systems to homeowners. Although similar to our Residential Solar System Installation Agreement, this Solar-Plus-Storage Installation Agreement contains additional language related to the battery storage components, disclaimers regarding estimates of the savings potentials from the battery bank and change of law risks, which are important in the emerging battery storage industry. California law contains many contractor specific requirements that are nuanced and specific, including but not limited to, certain statutory warnings and provisions related to wording, content and formatting of various sections in these types of agreements.
